The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a well-known aid organisation and a free, non-profit body of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees. The SOS Children's Village Dortmund is a growing network of stationary and outpatient youth aids. For the rebuilding of a stationary housing group in our SOS-Kinderdorf Dortmund we are looking for at the next time Senior Consultant (m/w/d) In the SOS Children's Village Dortmund a new residential group is created for eight children between eight and 13 years. We work in a multi-professional team to create a safe home for children, in which You can develop individually in trustful atmospheres. For the exciting construction of the residential group in the district of Dortmund Huckarde and the design of the offer we are looking for active and resourceful specialists who want to get into a new offer. As a pedagogical specialist, you will take care of up to 8 children together with your teammates. Through the interplay of your expertise and empathy, you create the individual development of the children. You actively participate in the education and assistance planning of the children and are oriented here to the quality requirements of the SOS Children's Village Association. You organize a structured daily routine and contribute to the design of an active group life. You offer a good cooperation with youth, schools and other specialist services, as well as intensive, cooperative and resource-oriented parental work. You carry out general economic activities in connection with the educational mission. In your duties, you are responsible for the implementation of child and child protection. Your working time is provided in the form of shift services (also 24-hour services), including day and post services on weekends and holidays.

You have a degree as an educatorin or social educationin or childhood education*in or a comparable educational qualification and bring professional experience. You are a dedicated and team-leading personality with the willingness to take responsibility.
