Type of employment: Unlimited Working time: Full time Place of work: Dresden As Senior Engineer wafer test EWS test chips (w/m/div) you are responsible for providing test and characterization solutions for SRAM and other test chips for fast technology transfer as well as for rapid reliability, quality and yield optimization. As part of the transfer and development projects, you control the development or transfer of wafer test programs for test chips and test structures from the test development to the Dresden Fab, prepare their use in the laboratory or transfer to the production and answer their content. If required, create or modify test programs for technology and reliability characterization. Based on the results of the data analyses, you characterize test failures electrically with respect to their cause in the test conditions, technology or circuit design and actively contribute your results and expertise to the work of the project teams. Based on your analyses, you will find suitable test conditions for error localization or, together with the respective specialist departments, drive the optimization of technology, test program or design. With your expertise, you are the contact person for series production in projects for reliability, quality and yield optimization, as well as in complex questions about test programs and test hardware.

Education: completed technical university studies in the field of electrical engineering, information technology, physics or comparable discipline Experiences and know-how: multiannual experience in PCM or wafer testing or in the characterization of semiconductor components, good knowledge of analog and digital circuit technology, basic understanding of current ASIC and MEMS technologies, a very good understanding of the test programming and the test contents as well as statistical analysis methods, ideally basic programming knowledge in a script language, e.g. python and experience in C/C++ Personality and working methods: team-ready, durable, communication-strong, very good organizational and problem-solving capability as well as strong quality awareness Languages: good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
