Technician/Engineer as Design Engineer Construction Space Coordination Shipbuilding (m/f/d)

You develop and coordinate 3D building spaces in CADMATIC outfitting and ensure that complex systems and components are integrated into sophisticated marine projects without collisions, assembly-oriented and production-proof. Based on machine-engineering 2D Schematic Plans, you can create detailed 3D models for pipeline and channel systems and combine the designs of different structures to create a technically coherent overall solution. In complex installation situations, you develop economic and practical solution concepts and coordinate them together with the participating specialist areas. In close cooperation with design, production and project teams, you will accompany the construction-accompanying design, evaluate technical changes and integrate them efficiently into the project course. With your view for technical relationships, you optimize building space concepts, create the conditions for smooth production and assembly and make an important contribution to the successful completion of demanding shipbuilding projects.

You have a further education on the technicians (m/w/d) in the field of machine or shipbuilding technology or a completed study of shipbuilding and marine engineering, maritime technology, mechanical engineering, plant engineering or a comparable field of expertise. Ideally, you will bring experience in the 3D design, building space coordination or the development of machine-building systems – preferably in the maritime environment or in comparable industrial projects. Dealing with a 3D CAD system is one of your tools. Knowledge in CADMATIC Outfitting and Siemens Teamcenter are of advantage, but can be built as part of a structured incorporation. Thanks to your strong spatial imagination and technical understanding, you will also develop thought-out and economical design solutions for complex installation situations. Personally, you are convinced by your own initiative, communication strength and a structured way of working. You like to work interdisciplinary and bring good knowledge of English for cooperation in international project teams.
