Social worker/Social pedagogue in Kinderonkologie (m/w/d)

for a fixed term (2 years) employment in parttime.

The field of activity includes:

• Initial social consultation of patients and their relatives
• support for families in social and financial matters (e.g. requesting assistance, sickness insurance, social legislation)
• coordination and mediation of social services (e.g. care allowance, degree of disability, rehabilitation measures)
• Support when returning to everyday life (school, kindergarten, training) after therapy
• Cooperation with a multi-professional team from a doctor: women, nurses, psychologist: women and therapists: women
• Network work with external institutions, rehabilitation clinics and consultancy offices

Your profile:

• Complete study of social work/social pedagogy (B.A.) or Dipl. Social work
• Experience in clinical or oncological fields
• Knowledge of social law and consulting skills
• High level of empathy, loadability and communication skills
• Self-employed and structured work
• Team skills and interdisciplinary thinking
