The professorship represents the teaching and research in applied computer science. Competence and commitment to the development of their own research and development priorities is assumed to make the profile even more attractive for students as part of the faculty's degree programmes. The professorship represents research and teaching in a dynamic field, which will change drastically in the coming years, for example, by the influence of artificial intelligence. According to this, a personality is important to us, which brings well-founded experiences and knowledge in one of the areas of software engineering, human-computer interaction, distributed systems, IT security or another area, and continuously introduces future developments in applied computer science into teaching and research. (m/w/d) also presupposes participation in basic education in computer science and mathematics. A person is sought with experience in the application of methods of computer science in engineering or economics, which can make their competence acquired in research and in professional practice usable for our students. The ability to interdisciplinary scientific work, enthusiasm for teaching, as well as the competence to teach in English is expected.
