Working environment: In our team in Sindelfingen, you are working directly on the development and testing of the components that decisively determine the design of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz SUV. These external components are, for example, bumpers, radiator linings, spoilers and longitudinal support linings. As part of your activity, you can work on new concepts both directly on the vehicle and digitally in the Siemens NX CAD system. Due to the numerous interfaces to be taken into account in the development of parts, you will also get insights into the areas of design, raw construction, corrosion avoidance, pedestrian protection, total vehicle protection, project organization etc. and help in coordination with these areas. These challenges come to you: Participation in the design and commissioning of rapid prototyping parts for concept testing and partial construction/modernization of test vehicles

Organisation of the functional check on vehicles or on prototype series parts (e.g. heat simulation)

Assessment and documentation of the test results

Support in carrying out component tests with subsequent component evaluation

Cooperation and creation of connection and component concepts with Siemens NX

Implementation of benchmarks

Take over responsibility for subprojects

The activity can begin from March 2026.

Degree course in engineering, technical degree course with deepening in general mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, plastic engineering, construction or a comparable degree course

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office
