The neurology of the Asklepios Klinik Hamburg Altona begins a new chapter in May: As part of the succession of the previous chief physician, a change takes place in the chief medical officer. The department is continuously evolved under new leadership, with a clear focus on modern neurological care, structured further education and a collegial, value-adding co-existence.

About us: The Asklepios Klinik Hamburg Altona is a house of maximum care with around 36,000 stationary patients. In 20 specialist departments, we provide a regional catchment area in Hamburg as well as parts of Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein. Our neurology covers the entire spectrum of neurological diseases, from the highly acute stroke care at the Stroke Unit to the specialized diagnosis of complex neurological diseases. We work interprofessional, evidence-based and with clear decision-making.

With the change of the line, the department is further developed structurally and content with focus on: • Development of modern neurovascular concepts • Development of clinical and scientific priorities • Strengthening a structured, transparent training • Continuous improvement of clinical processes

Diagnostics and therapy of neurological diseases throughout the spectrum Care of stationary and possibly outpatient patients Working with Stroke Unit and Intensive Care Participation in standby services Participation in the further development of clinical processes Optional: engagement in teaching, training

Complete study of human medicine German Approbation Interest in the specialist training Neurology Ideally, first clinical experience in neurology (e.g. in PJ) Very good German knowledge (at least C1 level) Teamability, initiative and willingness to learn
