Backend Developer - Kotlin / Kubernetes / Microservices (m/f/d)

Our customers are manufacturers:inside independent digital therapy applications (DiGA/DiPA) as well as pharmaceutical companies that want to support their drug therapies through digital accompanying solutions (Pharma Companion Apps).

With our mHealth Suite platform, we offer the right technology and compliance framework: a modular, regulatory infrastructure including hosting, maintenance and release management for CE certified health apps. 

We support our customers from the therapy idea through technical implementation to the market-ready digital product – focusing on safety, evidence and scalability. You develop and handle Microservices in Kotlin – from technical specification to deployment in our cloud environment. You actively shape the technical architecture of our platform and bring your expertise to important decisions and effort estimates. In close coordination with the mobile developers:inside (iOS/Android) you ensure the seamless connection of your backend services. You take responsibility for the stable operation of your services and ensure compliance with our quality standards and SLAs through monitoring and optimization. You place high value on code quality, write clean, testable software and always consider relevant security aspects (e.g. OWASP). You have already developed several backends for productive use and brings deep understanding of microservice architectures. Your code is thought out: You value concepts like Dependency Injection, Separation of Concerns and Immutability. Security is an integral part of development for you – the OWASP Top 10 and matching countermeasures are familiar to you. You are fit in handling containers (dockers) and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, as this is our deployment reality. The Linux shell and modern JVM building systems (Maven/Gradle, CI) are a familiar terrain for you. As our team speaks German, it is essential to have knowledge of German for everyday cooperation.
