Full-Stack AI Engineer – Fokus Backend, Generative AI & Cloud-Integration (m/f/d)

You design and implement high-performance backend services to integrate machine learning and generation AI models into productive workflows. Develop and maintain APIs and connectors to connect AI functionalities with internal systems and external tools. Use agentic frameworks to realize functions for reasoning, memory and tool usage. You develop and optimize frontends for AI applications based on modern frameworks such as React.js, TypeScript, Reflex or Streamlit. The integration of AI components into existing data and MLOps pipelines ensures smooth transitions between training, deployment and application. In system architecture, you work closely with cloud engineering teams to ensure scalability, stability and security.

You have completed their studies (BSc, MSc or PhD) in computer science, data science, mathematics or a comparable qualification and have relevant professional experience in full-stack or AI engineering. Very good backend development capabilities in Python as well as experience with frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask. You have experience in API design, service integration and dealing with agentic AI frameworks (e.g. LangChain, LlamaIndex). The handling of databases – whether relational (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL/vector databases (e.g. OpenSearch, Qdrant, FAISS) – is familiar to you. Frontend development with modern frameworks such as React.js/TypeScript, Reflex or Streamlit is your area of competence. Knowledge of microservice architectures, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) as well as security and compliance topics are advantageous. You bring an analytical, structured way of working, communicate clearly and have very good German knowledge on at least C1 level in word and writing.
