The Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main is one of the largest universities in Germany with around 41,000 students and around 7,000 employees. The Chief Information Office of the Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main supports the Chief Information Officer directly in the performance of the content-strategic, structural and organizational tasks as well as the technical conception and system architecture for digitization projects. In the Chief Information Office, the project “Introduction of a Document Management System” (DMS) is at the closest possible time a job as Projektmitarbeiterin/Solution Architektin (m/w/d) (E 13 TV-G-U) to be suspended until 31.12.2031. The grouping is based on the characteristics of the collective agreement applicable to the Goethe University (TV-G-U). With Doxis®, the Goethe University introduces a university-wide document management system. We work with eight other Hessian universities in the Digital Document-Based Process Management project at the Hessian Digital Pact University (Digital Pact 2.0). Together we develop standards and establish the technical operation. The aim of the introductory project is a uniform digital file management, a structured process processing and a revision-proof document storage. In addition to building the infrastructure, we are currently working at the Goethe University in the four technical subprojects of electronic personnel, electronic student records, contract management and digital transformation, organization development & change management. As a solution architect*, you take over the technical conception, implementation and continuous development of the university-wide document management system at this varied and responsible point. You develop future-oriented digital solutions for administrative processes and ensure their integration into the existing IT landscape of Goethe University. You will work closely with the project management, the University Computing Centre, the departments and the Hessian partner universities.

Conception and implementation of a holistic solution architecture and independent development of solution designs for digital, document-based specialist processes using-centric process digitization by analyzing complex administrative processes and deriving simple, intuitive workflows (usability principles, prototyping) with the inclusion of form management and electronic signature Metadata and file modelling cross-system integration by designing and implementing technical interfaces to leading systems (including HISinOne, SAP, IDM) Standard and localization management by developing technical guidelines and ensuring compatibility with the central DMS instances in Kassel / Darmstadt Optimization and innovation based on the analysis of user feedback and operating data for iterative improvement Documentation and knowledge sharing
