Senior Sales Territory Manager Motion Control & Photonics (m/f/d)

In your role as Senior Sales Territory Manager (m/w/d), you will be an important part of our future growth strategy. Together with the Newport Sales Team EMEIA, you are responsible for supporting existing and new industrial customers in East and South Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The position can be exercised 100% remotely.

Your tasks: Self-supporting the entire sales process for industrial customers in your sales area for products of the brand Newport (precision motion, opto-mechanical components, optics, vibration isolation systems and photonic instruments) from home office in East and South Germany. Achieving sales targets in the assigned sales area. Technical and commercial advice and support of existing customers as well as identification of new customers, applications and markets for Newport brand products. Development and implementation of strategies for the sales area and specific OEM customers. Building and maintaining long-term relationships with industrial customers through customer visits. Management and maintenance of sales opportunities and leads in the CRM system (Salesforce) as well as regular, precise sales forecasts for sales management. Organisation and tracking of regional trade fairs and exhibitions.

Bachelor or Master's degree in a scientific subject such as physics, chemistry or engineering. Applications for doctoral candidates are welcome. Sales experience and industry knowledge in the field of motion control, photonics, lasers, optoelectronics or optics, suitable for written. Role of readiness: up to 30% Excellent communication skills in German and English. Passion for sales as well as pronounced negotiation competence.
