Head of Billing & Invoicing Department / GOÄ & EBM (m/f/d)

You lead and develop the team of central billing in Mannheim and are responsible for the timely, correct correction of all stationary and outpatient deliveries and services in Baden-Württemberg and Hessen, including the subsidiaries You control the accounting processes of the associated practice structures (MVZ and Praxen) and ensure a proper KV accounting compared to the Kassenarzt associations – including regular updates and adjustments to new requirements You design new accounting structures in mergers, new foundations and organisational changes and act as a link between sales services, billing and other interfaces You analyze optimization potentials in billing, drive the digitization of processes and improve the interfaces between accounting, practice and laboratory systems (e.g. SAP R/3 to S/4HANA, bloodlab, e-blood) You ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements, are responsible for the quality of the billing (including SOP, form sheets) and are involved in special and digitization projects, such as the introduction of e-recepts, e-recursions (X-/ZUGFeRD) and new accounting paths for screening and PCR performance in large customers.

Completed business studies (e.g. BA/VWA) or comparable commercial training with corresponding additional qualification Multiannual leadership experience (at least 3–5 years) in a comparable function Embossed process understanding and sound knowledge in laboratory accounting according to GOÄ and EBM – compared to GKV, PKV, hospitals and MVZ structures Practice in digitization and optimization of billing processes, ideally with experience in e-audit or e-recept Secure handling of SAP (R/3 and/or S/4HANA) Experience in planning and implementing projects in the accounting or IT environment
