The Vivantes Klinikum Am Urban is a house of focus in the Berlin district of Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg with a wide range of somatic departments.

The clinic for psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychosomatics is an academic teaching hospital of Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin. It includes 263 beds/places, including a crisis intervention, a station for dependency diseases and a station for diseases of the higher age of life. An early intervention and therapy center (FRITZ am Urban) with a specialized stationary, partially stationary and outpatient youth and adult psychiatric offer for young people with first psychotic episodes. The clinic operates a therapy unit for dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) in people with Borderline disorders and for interpersonal therapy (IPT) in people with depression. The Safewards concept was implemented and evaluated on the two acute stations. As part of the station-equivalent treatment (StäB), the clinic has 37 Hometreatment places. Supported employment implemented according to the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, and peer employees (genessential) are part of the treatment teams.
