This makes this job interesting to me: 50Hertz is one of the four transmission system operators in Germany. We promote the energy transition by transporting electricity at maximum voltage level. In the service team, I work directly to install and maintain modern metering devices in large-scale customer systems such as energy storage, wind power and photovoltaic systems. I continuously develop my know-how in communication technology. In cooperation with specialists, I carry out audits and configurations of counting technology components in the counter laboratory and support the operation in the entire network area. My tasks fault clarification and fault elimination at counting points at 50Hertz operated counting points, reinstallation of counting points in foreign installations including on-site error measurement, pre-testing of the individual components with remote reading in the counter laboratory, parameterization of counting and communication technology components, ensuring and monitoring calibrated devices; maintenance of the documentation in the SAP system, Regular, multi-day journeys with overnight stays throughout the 50Hertz network are a central part of the activity, Pre- and post-processing of home or any 50Hertz administration site possible.
