The Bodelschwingh House offers homeless people with “special social difficulties” accommodation, advice and accompaniment. We mainly support men and with a small proportion also transpeople. The basis of our aids are the paragraphs §§ 67 to 69 in SGB XII. The Bodelschwingh House has 45 seats in the house and 25 decentralised residential areas. In addition, follow-up aids and housing management also belong to our support offer. You are responsible for contacting the target group, conducting orientation advice and information about the Housing First Hamburg offer You support the application of SGB II and basic insurance services You accompany the person concerned during the apartment visits and support them in the housing cover and in everyday situations You offer help in addressing individual problems

You have a completed university degree - Bachelor/Master/Dipl. FH/ - with a social pedagogical focus You are experienced in homeless help and know the Hamburger Hilfesystem You are familiar with the subject of poverty and have sound knowledge in social law Ideally, you speak another foreign language You bring a friendly, binding appearance and safe handling of people in difficult situations of life, You are used to work independently and also enjoy working in the team
