Number: MER0003WAZ The software & application drive application department bundles the development responsibilities of the functional software and the application of rideability, operating strategy and transmission for current and future vehicle generations of all partially and fully electrified vehicles. In our team, we shape the driving capability application and operating strategy of the drivetrain in series development. Our task is to meet the highest standards in terms of comfort and dynamics and to represent this with the lowest fuel consumption. We accompany the development of our drives from initial commissioning to release. We are in constant exchange and contact with all the specialist areas necessary for the development of a vehicle. In close coordination with the development engineers, you will work on future requirements with current challenges of the development of car drive units. You support the team, among other things, in the care and updating of the development vehicles and test benches, in the evaluation of measurements and in coordination with workshops, test benches and other specialist areas. You will get many insights into our drivetrain development. These challenges include: Support for development vehicles Cooperation in the coordination of vehicle modifications and measurement technology implementations Participation in the preparation and implementation of tests at test benches Support for evaluation, comparison and documentation of measurement results Participation in the preparation of vehicles for test trips Communication with test benches, workshops, car supervisors and other fields The activity can start from March/April 2026.

Engineering degree course with a focus on mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, mechatronics, computer science or a comparable degree course Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS-Office - Experience with Matlab are of advantage Commitment, team skills, analytical thinking, strategic working Technical understanding and affinity to the product of advantage Knowledge of motor, transmission and vehicle engineering is desirable Driving licence B Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with an indication of the semester and proof of the regular study period.
