Excelitas has a key position in production at its location in Alzenau, Germany. The device specializes in the production of UV gas discharge lamps. These are used for UV curing of paints or printing inks and for air and water treatment.

You work with Global Operational Excellence to implement the Excelitas Operating System (EOS) locally. The definition and implementation of the Lean Six Sigma roadmap of the site in accordance with the EOS framework is one of your tasks. You will also run strategic operational sessions to link the corporate strategy to the operating and functional teams. You perform Kaizen events, problem-solving workshops and process optimization projects. Your tasks include coaching and mentoring executives, supervisors and employees to build CI skills. You ensure the tracking and reporting of CI project performance based on important key figures (SQDCP: security, quality, delivery, costs, employees). In your working day, you work closely with the areas of operation, technology, supply chain, EHS and quality to achieve cross-functional improvements.

Bachelor degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or a related area (Master degree preferred) At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing/in operation, of which at least 5 years in CI or Lean Leadership Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Black Belt) Embossed skills in the areas of moderation, coaching and change management Experience in conducting cross-functional projects with measurable results Safe handling of problem solving, data analysis and project management tools Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
