Senior Cloud Devops Engineer (m/w/d)

You are responsible for the efficient and secure deployment of Markant IT infrastructure with the focus on cloud platforms and container technology. You take the conception and integration of new IT solutions into the business infrastructure both in the cloud and in hybrid models (onPrem, Iaas, PaaS, SaaS). You contribute to the development and support of the service portfolio within the MarkHub cloud platform and the Markant development platform. You automate recurring tasks using different script and programming languages (e.g. Terraform, Bash, Go). You identify risks and take the backup and elimination of possible security risks. You act as a support and advice of the internal service teams when using the IT infrastructure. You take over the analysis and solution of complex cross-division problems. You'll be puggling and developing the technical documentation, and you'll be ready to call.

You bring a completed technical training or study in the field of IT or a comparable qualification. You have a sound knowledge of cloud platforms, especially Azure and container technology. You can optimally bring knowledge in the field of log management, monitoring tools and databases (SQL/NoSQL) as well as a basic understanding of network protocols, firewall rules, DNS and Linux. You already have experience with DevOps tools and practices such as CI/CD, IaC to automate code development, integration and delivery (preferably Gitlab, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes). You bring analytical thinking and problem solving skills. You have a customer-oriented way of working, a high level of personal responsibility, team spirit and communication strength. You are characterized by an open mindset and great interest in the current developments in hosting and managed services. You have very good German and good English skills.
