Senior Consultant Production System Planning Heavy Maintenance

At the closest possible time, we are looking for you as Senior Referent:in production system planning heavy maintenance (w/m/d) for S-Bahn Berlin GmbH at the location Berlin. Your tasks:

Your area of responsibility includes the design, planning and optimization of production lines in the heavy maintenance of rail vehicles and components You develop manufacturing concepts, layouts and material flow planning and design efficient production systems taking into account modern manufacturing principles Your portfolio includes the creation of capacity models, timing and schedules as well as the derivation of personnel and qualification requirements You take over the operational management of projects in a multi-project environment and ensure compliance with cost, time and quality objectives The coordination of interdisciplinary cooperation between manufacturing, work preparation, planning & control and material management is your responsibility You identify optimization potentials in the production system and use Lean methods such as 5S or value flow analyses to increase efficiency Your task includes the development of material delivery strategies (e.g. Kitting, Kanban, Milkrun) as well as their coordination with relevant interfaces You prepare decision bases, tax workshops and initiate appropriate countermeasures and management decisions in case of deviations

Your profile:

You have completed university studies, such as production technology and management, industrial engineering or in a comparable technical field Multiannual professional experience (approximately 3-5 years) in maintenance, production or production planning, ideally in the railway environment you bring with you Finding knowledge of manufacturing principles, material flows and production systems characterize you You have experience in project management, ideally in a multi-project environment, and proceed structured and solution-oriented Knowledge in Lean Management as well as in methods for process optimization, you are sure to apply in practice You bring a good understanding of business relationships and ideally experience in controlling with Communication strength, as well as the ability to prepare and control complex facts in a manner that is addressable, are among your strengths You work autonomously, analytically and responsibly and drive forward topics with high self-initiative and implementation strength
