Internship Research & Development - Test Bench Operation and Mechatronic Special Tests (m/f/d)

Our Reinhold Würth Innovation Center CURIO offers you versatile practical activities. Be part of the development team “Mechatronikprüffeld und Messtechnik Powertools” and support the following tasks in a modern working environment: You plan, organize and carry out tests in the test field and derive sound evaluations for battery tools. Bring your findings from the test field into product development and thus contribute to the new development and optimization of innovative battery tools. You carry out benchmark analyses of prototypes and competitive equipment and investigate their structure, functions and components, especially in the context of teardowns. You evaluate new machines with regard to function, performance, application and competitive comparison. You take over the design, development and optimization of test stands, measurement technology and measurement infrastructure. You will test measurement data, prepare the results in a comprehensible way and start meaningful test and test protocols.

You are studying mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable technical course. You bring very good knowledge to Microsoft Office. You like to work handcrafted and are looking forward to getting ready. You have good knowledge of mechanical and mechatronic systems. Self-responsibility, creativity and self-initiative in handling your tasks. You have first experience in microcontroller programming (e.g. Arduino or C). Your team skills and communication skills are yours. Very good knowledge of German (C1) and good knowledge of English complete your profile.

Your mission is rewarded. For a mandatory internship, you can expect 1,400 € gross per month. If you do a voluntary internship for four months or longer or write your thesis with us, you will receive €2,541 gross per month.
