Hardware Developer (m/w/d)

Electronics is the core of our electrical engineering development. Here you work at the interface to a variety of projects where you can contribute and expand your expertise. Our focus is on the continuous success of the projects and the active exchange of knowledge within the team as well as with other disciplines to develop innovative solutions. Exciting challenges await you in innovative and constantly evolving technology fields from inspection robots in water pipes, autonomous unmanned underwater vehicles (AUV) to innovative water sports vehicles.

Planning and coordination of hardware development components including cost estimation, time planning and development related documentation

Coordination of interface development together with the electronics and other developers in the team and with interdisciplinary partner areas

Development and design including sensor systems, power electronics, battery management systems, communication interfaces and pressure-neutral electronics

Development and implementation of electrotechnical requirements from our diverse technologies and project fields

Introduction and continuous improvement of modern methods, processes and tools for efficient product development

Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, industry standards and internal development guidelines in all projects

Working on the design and integration of system architectures

Multiannual professional experience in hardware development

Knowledge of EMC-compliant development and handling of test and measurement methods

Ideally experience in handling development tools such as Altium Designer and with schematic & PCB design

Know-how in the interface development between electronics and embedded systems

Experience in Harsh-Environment Development or ATEX approvals are advantageous

Analytical way of thinking, quick incorporation into new topics and solution-oriented working

Communication strength and joy in interdisciplinary cooperation
