You are responsible for all relevant purchasing processes for the battery-specific components in a complex and global environment You develop, coordinate and implement the category strategy You drive forward the optimization of the supplier panel, ensure its continuous updating and ensure the suitability for all business areas of the battery systems You monitor market developments in order to derive the correct conclusions and measures You create additional value for the organization by using intelligent procurement methods You use procurement tactics such as global bundles, slot sourcing, auctions or comparable approaches You continuously improve commercial conditions to ensure competitive prices (through negotiations, global bundles, cost calculations and VA/VE projects) You ensure and negotiate contractual agreements with battery-specific suppliers You ensure the availability of material in the supply chain according to schedule and keep the stock at a minimum acceptable level

Complete studies in engineering (engineering, electrical engineering, vehicle engineering, mechatronics) or in economics (Supply Chain Management, BWL, economic engineering) Professional experience in the category purchase, ideal in an international company or the automotive industry Impressed communication and negotiation skills and good network understanding Sovereign appearance at all hierarchical levels Strategic, analytical and conceptual thinking Reliable, structured and independent operation Very good knowledge of German and English
