Software Architect (m/w/d)

As a software architect (m/w/d), you work together with your colleagues from the various specialist teams to create, maintain and document software system architectures for (crosslinked) military vehicle, simulation and platform systems in national and international projects. This ranges from soldiers systems (IDZ) to shooters (Boxer, Puma, Lynx) to the development of new fighters such as the Panther. In your position, you take on the technical responsibility for creating and maintaining software system architectures and accompany the implementation process up to the finished product in intensive exchange with your colleagues from software development. The following tasks are part of your task: Creating software system architectures for complete vehicle (partial) systems and/or simulators derivation and refinement of software requirements at functional and non-functional level Monitor and secure architecture implementation Communication between project/product management and development teams The implementation of thematic analyses, such as performance and weakness analyses Embedding the software components available in the market Creating process documentation, for example software architecture design Initiating and technical evaluation of Make-or-Buy decisions regarding software components Homogenizing the software landscapes and avoiding redundant development

Completed study of computer science, alternatively a completed training as a specialist informant or comparable Multiannual professional experience in creating software architectures Multiannual experience in collaboration with large software projects Very good programming knowledge in an object-oriented programming language Very good knowledge of German and English Safe occurrence and communication behaviour at all levels of the company Global readiness
