To strengthen our central Team Enterprise Architecture & Innovation in the company IT in Oberkochen, Munich or Jena, we are looking for an experienced enterprise architect that covers one or more EA domains at ZEISS. In this role you give orientation, introduce your architectural expertise and take responsibility within the EAM (Enterprise Architecture Managements) of the Carl ZEISS Group.
Development of the Enterprise Architecture Domaine “Integration / Connectivity”. You develop a comprehensive vision of target architecture and focus significantly on business requirements and the classic EAM approach.
You drive the identification and evaluation of new technologies (e.g. cloud-native integration, event-driven architecture, API management, IoT/Edge/Cloud connectivity) and support the departments in shaping their digital agenda.
Takeover of the governance role in architectural decisions and representation of architectural concepts in company-wide architecture bodies.
You act in your key role as an architect in the planning, moderation and documentation of architectural workshops with architects, IT colleagues and business representatives.
You have an understanding of relevant business strategies, their derivation to technological, organisational and process capabilities and the impact on the application landscape to identify and prioritize the EA enhancement potentials.
You act as a “Trusted Advisor”, which is responsible for their domains across the spectrum and supports lateral solution architects.
Based on your knowledge, you can take responsibility for adjacent relevant EA domains, such as ERP (engineer-to-order, lead-to-cash, inbound-to-outbound, record-to-report), marketing, e-commerce, production/production, etc.
You have a strong professional experience and have already gained experience in the enterprise environment, with sound experiences in the integration and connectivity environment as well as broad knowledge of SAP technologies being advantageous.
