The SOS Children's Village Dortmund is a growing network of stationary and outpatient youth aids. In the SOS Children's Village Dortmund there are two stationary housing groups: a regular group for eight children between the ages of 8 and 13 and a family-analogous group for six children between the ages of 4 and 10. We work in multi-professional teams to create a safe home for children in which You can develop individually in a confident atmosphere. Through the interplay of your expertise and empathy, you promote the individual development of children. You actively participate in the education and assistance planning of the children and are oriented here to the quality requirements of the SOS Children's Village Association. You organize a structured daily routine and get involved in the design of an active group life. You offer a good cooperation with youth offices, schools and other specialist services, as well as intensive, cooperative and resource-oriented parental work. You carry out general economic activities related to the educational mission. In your duties, you are responsible for the implementation of child and child protection. You work in the form of shift services (also 24-hour services). It also includes day and post services on weekends and holidays.

You have a degree as an educator or a curative teacherin or a social pedagogue or a childhood teacherin or a comparable pedagogical qualification and brings professional experience.
