In the Construction & Mechanics AMG and V-Motors department, we as the team “Mechanik Cylinder Head, Control and Chain Drive” are responsible for the development, testing and securing of new motors, as well as the serial support of all Mercedes-Benz Otto and Diesel engines. To this end, we work interdisciplinaryly with the departments of construction and calculation. As part of your internship, you will be able to participate in the development of the next generation of our electrified engines. The versatile activity in the mechanics topics offers you a lot of free space for design, allows you to gain insight into the different development stages from the concept phase to the series start up to series support. For the highly interdisciplinary orientation of the tasks, you will receive extensive contact with other specialist departments as part of the activity and is the ideal basis for entry into the automotive industry that is undergoing great change. These challenges include: Supporting the planning, parts delivery and support of engine setups

Maintenance of test bench motors in continuous operation

Working in the assessment and documentation of test benches or Continuous running motors

Construction and operation of applications/measuring technology on test engines and their evaluation

Development and design of communication documents, reports and presentations

Participation and cooperation in workshops, as well as preparation and follow-up

Implementation of projects
