With expertise in routing, switching and firewall management, you will ensure stable operation and future-proof solutions. An exciting range of tasks and state-of-the-art technologies await you.

You are responsible for the configuration, management and smooth operation of our entire network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN and software-defined networking). You manage and maintain active network components such as routers, switches, firewalls and access points from manufacturers such as Aruba or Fortinet. In close cooperation with the IT security team, you implement security policies, manage firewall rules and protect the network from external and internal threats. You proactively monitor network performance and availability, analyze disturbances and fix them systematically (trouble shooting). You support the planning and implementation of network extensions and modernizations to meet the growing requirements of the company. You create and maintain a comprehensive documentation of network topology, configurations and processes.

Complete study of computer science or a comparable qualification (e.g. completed training as a specialist for system integration) and corresponding professional experience. Funded knowledge in the areas of TCP/IP, routing (e.g. OSPF, BGP) and switching. An independent, structured and solution-oriented method. Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
