Expert for grid connections (m/f/d)

The position is located in our Engineering Electrical department, which currently comprises about 18 employees. For our plant planning projects in the field of energy and climate protection, we are looking for an expert in network connections (m/w/d) at various locations.

technical planning and design of network connections for solar and wind farms, battery storage systems and hydrogen electrolysis systems including transformers and Power transformers Responsibility for the technical coordination and application of network connection points (distribution points) and transmission networks) in cooperation with the customer; analysis of the network connection rules and Plant conformity Creation of electrical plan documents for approval processes with authorities, project developers and network operators Participation in the creation of the PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) and verification of the connection capacity Creation of network connection requests and arrangements Creation, testing and approval of technical reports Creation, testing and evaluation of EPC and IPP requests Testing of technical plant configurations up to the level of detailed planning Support in technical supply creation, project management in cost estimates and project schedules Participation in administrative and regulatory procedures related to the network connection Implementation of due dilligences of existing plants with the focus on network connection

Complete studies in electrical engineering with a focus on electrical energy technology At least 5 years of relevant professional experience Knowledge of the German Connection Directives (VDE-ARN series) and European Grid Codes Insufficient experience with energy transmission facilities (high and high voltage systems, e.g. transformers, free lines and cable lines) Knowledge of common protection and measurement concepts Experience from the consulting environment of advantage Excellent written and oral communication skills, in particular in relation to e-mail correspondence, writing technical reports and presentations High quality standards for results, reports and offers Working time for several projects readiness for occasional travel in Germany and abroad Very good German and English knowledge, at least C1 level in word and writing
