Agricultural Specialist as Head Greenkeeper – Stadium Turf & Sports Areas (m/f/d)

Special responsibility for the care and quality of the stadium and the three other sports fields. Planning and control of professional greenkeeping including care, fertilization, irrigation and regeneration measures. Professional leadership and coordination of the Greenkeeping team including task sharing, guidance and the introduction of new employees. Documentation of care and regeneration measures. Organisation of machine and equipment use and control and ensuring proper maintenance. The development of care concepts, quality standards and workflows. coordination of the lawn care measures with the game and organising operations, as well as support for the greenery and entertainment of the stadium area.

Completed qualification as a certified greenkeeper (m/w/d), e.g. specialist agronomist/in golf course care or sports field care, or equivalent knowledge and skills according to AGQ, e.g. by training in garden and sports field Landscape construction and many years of experience in sports lawn care. Multiannual, ideally long-term professional experience in the professional care and entertainment of sports facilities, as well as a well-founded knowledge of lawn and sports field management. Experience in the professional management and coordination of a green-keeping team as well as a high sense of responsibility and a strong quality claim. Technical understanding and safe handling of machines and equipment for sports field care, driving licence class B and pesticide certificates. Self-employed, reliable and careful working methods, team capacity and willingness to continue regular training and flexible working hours in the course of the game and event operation.
