The Hanseatic City of Lüneburg is looking forward to competent reinforcement in the field of youth care and youth aid facilities – at the next possible time, as a medical representative until 31.10.2026 in the range of 39 hours per week as

Senior Consultant (m/w/d)

for use in children's and youth homes

The job is part-time, the part-time can be configured according to individual consultation in the work area, so that the task is fulfilled. The use is done in the shift service.

The youth assistance facility Wismarer Strasse of the Hansestadt Lüneburg operates facilities for inobservation according to § 42 Social Code- Achte Buch- Kinder- und Jugendhilfe (SGB VIII) and housing groups according to § 42 Section 34 and Section 41 of SGB VIII as part of the stationary youth assistance.

The work takes place with two different services. She expects a multi-professional team that supports each other and develops sustainable solutions for young people together. The work in the Children's and Youth House is varied, dynamic and characterized by diverse, exciting cases. They take responsibility, design perspectives and make an important contribution to the protection and stabilisation of children and young people in crisis situations.

Your tasks (excerpts):

• the group service in the reference service system and in the shift service procedure with night readiness, call readiness and weekend services,
• the implementation of pedagogical work in accordance with the objectives set out in the aid plan;
• the organization and design of the group daily in coordination with other educational professionals,
• support for young people in their daily management,
• the participation in the alternance of self-employment and preparation for the move into one's own living space, organizing and carrying out leisure activities, documentation of the course of care and the creation of reports for help-plan discussions, and
• the takeover of economic and practical activities.

A prerequisite for the occupation is a successfully acquired degree as:

• state-approved educator/ state-approved educator,
• state-recognized healer education nurse/ state-recognized healer education nurse or
• Youth and home educators (min. two-year training period: Fachschule, Akademie).

From you as a candidate:in addition to a high level of expertise, a quick understanding, caring for children and adolescents as well as a high load capacity are expected. An empathic personality is sought for the perception of tasks, which appears open and open-minded and works reliably, structured, flexible and independent, and brings with it the motivation for co-designing and further developing the institution.

The employment relationship is governed by the public service collective agreement (TVöD). Remuneration is effected according to the pay group S8b of Appendix C to the TVEde.
