Your tasks

• Interface between Purchasing and Sales - You are responsible for our assortment and contribute to the best quality of EDEKA customers throughout Germany
• Control of goods flows and the complete logistics chain
• Market monitoring and regular exchange with suppliers and wholesalers/traders
• Selection of suitable suppliers, negotiation and conclusion of contracts
• International travel activities to ensure local proximity to suppliers
• Implementation of customer-specific requirements in terms of assortment, packaging, containers and promotions

Your profile

• Multiannual experience in purchasing citrus fruits
• Must-have Languages: English & German - a third language is of advantage (Spanish/Italian/French)
• Funded goods and industry knowledge – You are an expert:in and know the major exporters
• Outstanding negotiation competence and sense of responsibility
• Communication strength and hand-on mentality
• readiness and joy in international contacts
