Team Leader Trial (m/f/d)

You take over the management and strategic development of our test and validation team as well as the associated product validation processes – including field tests. Your goal is to ensure a durable high quality of our components and machines in international use. You guide your team professionally and disciplinaryly and bear the responsibility for 8 employees (ingenieurinnen/Ingenieure und Techniker), including their individual promotion and further development. In close coordination with the development, project management and quality assurance, plan and coordinate test activities along release and project milestones. You analyze and evaluate test results and support your team in the interpretation and derivation of appropriate measures. Based on design FMEAs, you define and control targeted component tests for early product reliability. In addition, you develop and implement efficient test strategies, e.g. through the use of statistical experimental planning (DoE) and accelerated life tests (ALT). In addition, you are responsible for the preparation and maintenance of test plans and test reports as well as a structured, comprehensible documentation. You continuously observe new test methods and trends and systematically develop the validation processes. The evaluation and perspective implementation of a laboratory accreditation is also part of your responsibility. Compliance with relevant standards and safety and quality standards in the field of testing and validation is guaranteed at any time.

You have a successfully completed study in the field of technology or physics. First experience in laboratory management, ideally in the mechatronic environment, you have collected. So far, you have also managed employees and bring a strong sense of responsibility. You have a well-founded knowledge of DVP&R as well as in DV/PV testing based on analytical methods (including Accelerated Life Testing (ALT), Reliability and Confidence methods) and master statistical experimental planning (DoE). Cross-departmental work is self-evident and appreciates cooperation with product development (mechanics, electrical engineering, software/hardware), quality assurance, production, product management and service as well as external partners. You can also make your knowledge of English (at least level C1) a recognized contact partner in the international field.
