Automotive Mechatronics Technician in Unit A.II.2 – Operational Capability of Equipment 1; Technology (m/f/d)

The BBK is the head office of the Federal Government for National Crisis Management in Germany. We ensure the quality of crisis management in a central coordination role with federal, international and cross-sector partners. In view of this task, our interdisciplinary team is growing steadily. We are looking for unlimited duration at the next time a motor vehicle mechatronic / a motor vehicle mechatronic (w/m/d) E 6 TVöD Bundle in the A.II.2 Unit, the capacity of equipment 1; technology at the Bonn office.

Acquisition of equipment – you are involved in procurement measures for additional equipment in civil protection. You check z. the completeness of submitted technical installations of offers or prepare the execution of checks. Quality assurance – You are involved in quality assurance measures for the supplementary provision of civil protection. Its task is to carry out technical tests and functional checks on vehicles and structures according to established test lists and standard specifications. You cooperate with suppliers in the event of on-site acceptance. Handicraft activities – You support the conversion of mechanical, radio and electrical components. In addition, carry out maintenance, repair and testing activities on vehicles and their assemblies.

You have successfully completed a vocational training on motor mechatronics/vehicle mechatronics or a comparable technical training. You have knowledge of vehicle technology, in particular in the field of chassis, ideally for commercial vehicles. Ideally, you have basic knowledge, better practical experience, in the field of electrical engineering and vehicle electronics. In the best case, you will gain a basic understanding of radio and communication installations in vehicles. You are distinguished by systematic work preparation and ensure that appointments and quality specifications are complied with. As a real team player, you pack up where support is needed and contribute to a positive and productive working environment through your helpful way. You are ready to use our projects directly on site, e.g. in workshops or with external service providers such as construction manufacturers, and bring the necessary readiness to nationwide service trips. You have a class B licence, other classes of advantage. As our tasks are safety-relevant and event-oriented, we need your willingness to extend the safety review and to participate in the BBK crisis organization.

If you are in an official's relationship, we will take you up to grade A 6 in the same status by means of a disposition with the aim of the transfer.
