Interoperability Manager (m/f/d)

As an interoperability manager (m/w/d), you assume the overall technical responsibility for the strategic orientation, standardization and further development of interoperability in the clinical system landscape. You design the connection of data, systems and clinical processes with the aim of making medical information reliable, unambiguous, reusable and system-wide usable.

Development and further development of a comprehensive target image for interoperability, data standardization, clinical data repository (CDR) and a uniform patient record Development and maintenance of a roadmap for interoperability and CDR topics as well as derivation of architectural planks and decision bases Technical control and evaluation of interfaces, APIs, message flows and integration patterns in clinical IT landscape Development and establishment of standard-based integration approaches, in particular based on HL7 v2, HL7 FHIR, ISiK, IHE, DICOM, CDA/XDS/XCA and REST/API-based integrations Control and development of central data flows as well as clinical data models, data catalogs, mappings and data quality rules Promoting a manufacturer-neutral and system-wide usable data base Technical control of the standardization of terminologies, classifications, document types, forms, findings, measured values, diagnosis, procedures and master data Building and further development of governance structures for code systems, value sets, concept maps, terminology servers and mapping decisions Promoting a uniform, cross-clinic patient action and reduction of special routes, double documentation and media breaks Assessment and Priority of Requirements, Demands, Projects and Procurements from the perspective of interoperability, data strategy and overall architecture Participation in tenders, specifications, contract checks, operational transfers, release processes and acceptances Definition and monitoring of data quality, interface and interoperability characteristics Coordination of cooperation between clinic, IT, architecture, service owners, project organisations, data protection, information security, medical technology and manufacturers Building knowledge and exchange formats on interoperability, data standards, CDR and data governance Documentation of interfaces, data models, mapping decisions, standards and architectural principles

Complete study of medical computer science or a comparable subject, ideally at master level Multiannual professional experience in complex hospital or clinical IT landscapes, preferably in the context of university medicine or maximum care Experience with primary and special clinical systems, such as KIS, LIS, RIS/PACS/VNA, PDMS, archive and documentation systems Experience in interface, integration, migration, data quality, CDR or DWH projects Experience in cooperation with clinical users, manufacturers, architecture, data protection, information security and project organisations Very good knowledge of relevant medical communication and interoperability standards, in particular HL7 v2, HL7 FHIR, ISiK, IHE, DICOM and REST/API-based integration Good knowledge of medical terminologies, classifications and code systems, such as KDL, LOINC, SNOMED CT, ICD-10, ICD-11 and ATC Safe handling of data models, profiles, value sets, concept maps, mapping methods, terminology servers, data catalogs and versioning Understanding clinical end-to-end processes, medical documentation and patient file, order and findings communication Ability to translate complex technical standards into understandable clinical requirements and feasible work packages Basic knowledge of data protection, information security as well as test, release and change management in the hospital environment Strategic, analytical and process-oriented thinking Embossed communication, moderation and translation capabilities between clinic, IT and management Enforcement capability with pragmatic and clinically accepted standardization Self-employed, structured and result-oriented work Conflictability, liability and safe occurrence in bodies and manufacturers Very good German knowledge of word and writing as well as good English knowledge readiness to travel between Kiel and Lübeck as well as to external partners Class B driving licence
