Location: Berlin

Set up, programming and operating CNC milling machines for producing precise prototypes Working with various materials, including aluminum, titanium, iron metals, ceramics and technical plastics Achieve and check tight tolerances (e.g. ±0.001 mm) to meet demanding design requirements Applying GD&T principles according to ASME Y14.5-2009 to ensure dimensional accuracy Cooperation with engineers and designers to develop machining strategies for complex and unique geometries Testing prototypes with advanced measuring tools and techniques Optimize processing processes for prototype development, focusing on precision and functionality Fixing errors in machine performance, tools and clamping systems during prototype production Documenting work processes, programs and test results

Complete vocational training to the machining mechanic or similar. Additional qualification to the technician with the field of mechanical engineering, manufacturing or a related area is preferred Experience in programming and operating CNC-controlled machines Extensive experience with CNC milling machines, including 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis setups, especially for prototypes Knowledge of advanced milling techniques of complex surfaces Knowledge of further manual machining processes such as drilling, turning and milling Proven expertise in work with close tolerances and a variety of materials, including metals, ceramics and plastics Experience with collaborative robots (cobots) for tasks in the prototype process is advantageous
