You create and advocate explosion protection concepts and documents for jobs at our company as well as for commissioning and service activities at external locations and customer projects You carry out risk assessments – especially with regard to explosion protection and pressure equipment – and make sure that all legal and safety requirements are met You monitor plant safety during ongoing operation, carry out regular safety visits and support operators:in case of safety-related issues You accompany commissioning both in internal systems and in customer projects and ensure that safety requirements are consistently implemented and documented

You have a degree in engineering, a training as a technician (m/w/d) or master (m/w/d) or a comparable qualification You bring leadership experience and sound expertise as a specialist in occupational safety, ideally focusing on chemistry, and/or as a safety and health coordinator (SiGeKo) You have experience as HSE manager: in dealing with complex construction sites or in the care of large-scale chemical plants You have well-founded knowledge as a specialist for explosion protection and experience in the handling of large chemical plants and in general plant safety You are familiar with the processes and requirements in the various commissioning phases of plants and have good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
