Head of Quality (m/w/d) in Special Purpose Machinery

Our client is a renowned manufacturer in special machine construction. The machines are manufactured in Germany and distributed worldwide. The medium-sized traditional company is in the process of establishing itself in a future-proof manner and optimizing its processes and structures.

As part of this future-oriented change process, the company is looking for an experienced manager of quality (m/w/d) at the Hanau production site in a newly created position at the next possible time.

With a direct line of reports to the factory manager, you will take care of a key position with high relevance for the company's success. You build a professional, cross-departmental quality management, which you will gradually develop with your team. They implement quality-related key figures and develop the existing quality management systems successively. As a bridge builder between all production areas, you optimize cooperation and quality – from product development to delivery.

Candidates:with corresponding experience in the field of mechanical engineering, candidates who come from the automotive industry and have appropriate method skills are welcome. Ensure product quality from development to series release Planning and implementation of internal and external audits and introduction of corrective and preventive measures in cooperation with development, production and service Further development and monitoring of quality management systems Implementation of quality-specific training on methods and standards as well as creation of documentation Analysis of customer complaints and implementation of optimization measures Creating and reporting key figures Close cooperation and communication with other departments in the company (e.g. research & development, order planning, manufacturing, service, etc.), as well as external suppliers and customers Discipline and professional leadership and further development of your team

Successfully completed engineering studies, e.g. in mechanical engineering, production engineering, industrial engineering, etc.; alternatively successfully completed technical training with further training as a technician, e.g. Long-standing experience in a leadership position with disciplinary personnel responsibility in quality management in machine or plant engineering Professional knowledge in the application of quality methods (e.g. IATF, FMEA, APQP, QVP, Ishikawa, 8D or more) Qualification as an Auditor (m/w/d) according to ISO:9001 with experience in performing internal and external audits Experience in the introduction and further development of quality management systems, in particular ISO:9001 or IATF 16949, and ideally ISO:50001 Team player with clear target and result orientation as well as strong entrepreneurial thinking and sense of responsibility Modern leadership style paired with enforcement strength, good communication skills and solution-oriented action German excellent, English good in word and writing
