In our newly established team, you will build a modern platform based on current Java and Spring Boot stacks for our industrial customer business. Our goal: fewer manual steps, continuous workflows and clean data flows that fit into our existing system landscape. You take responsibility for (further) development, care and operation of our applications – both professionally and technically As Java Developer (m/w/d), new microservices in Java 21 and Spring Boot 3 develop and develop the inventory management system from scratch. Step by step, you will replace the old monolith system and thus ensure a scalable, future-proof platform. As a developer (m/w/d), you automate business operations by means of RulesEngine and BPMOrchestrierung, so that standard cases “dark” – i.e. completely without manual interventions – run through. You will explore new technological trends and frameworks, evaluate them and integrierst relevant innovations independently into the team You enter your services via REST and Kafka into our CRM, pricing, reporting and output and process management. You use Large Language Models to extract content, propose contractual clauses and further optimize processes. You coordinate implementation independently – from planning to interface coordination to quality assurance, reporting and budget management Tech-Stack: Cloud‐native (AWS), Spring Boot 3, Java 21, Gradle, GitLab CI/CD, Kubernetes, OpenAPI, Testcontainer, Data Mesh on Postgres/Elastic. You have a degree in Computer Science or an IT training or several years of professional experience as Software Developer (m/w/d) or Java Developer (m/w/d) You have knowledge of Java development and ideally in cloud-native software development Ideally, you know yourself with agile workings, think with you and get proactive in your team You have a very good analytical mindset, work structured and find pragmatic solutions You are strong in communication and brings team spirit into cross-functional cooperation You have experience in project work and know yourself with the planning and management of IT projects You work independently, solution-oriented and transparent – this makes you especially valuable as a software developer (m/w/d) for your team First experiences with the integration or detachment of mainframe systems (e.g. COBOL, Delta) are advantageous Knowledge of Frontend Development with Modern JavaScript Frameworks like React complete your profile as a Full-Stack-oriented Developer (m/w/d)
