Part-time Project Management – Water Protection / Organic Farming (m/f/d)

The German Association for Water Management, Wastewater and Waste (DWA) is committed to the development of a safe and sustainable water management. As a politically and economically independent organization, it works professionally in the fields of water management, waste water, waste and soil protection. For our Research and Innovation staff, we are looking for 01.09.2026 – limited to 16 months – one Project Management (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d) in part-time (30 hours/week). The project: The project ''Water protection through cooperation between water management and ecologic agriculture'' examines the role of organic farming in the provision of drinking water protection, collects existing cooperation between water suppliers, beverage producers and farms and derives good-practice approaches, success factors, inhibitions and needs for action.

Management and coordination of the research project, including time and work planning of the project phases. Interface management between the participating partners as well as the associated partner DVGW and water suppliers. Preparation, moderation and documentation of e.g. project meetings and stakeholder and expert workshops. Initiation and support of a project advisory board and reporting to the sponsor. Development, testing and implementation of exchange, transfer and event formats (e.g. focus groups, final event). Preparation, documentation and target group-specific dissemination of project results in specialist practice, politics, administration, science and consulting. Public relations and professional communication including publications, press work and presentations in relevant disciplines.

Complete studies in the scientific and technical field, e.g. water management, water science, environmental sciences, agricultural sciences / agroecology, hydrology, geoecology or the like. The first experience in the coordination of projects is desirable, ideally from joint or research projects. The first experience in the organization, moderation and documentation of meetings, workshops, participation or exchange formats is desirable. Impressed organisational and coordination skills as well as high communication and moderation competence. Self-employed, structured and responsible work. Safe handling of current MS Office applications. Dangerous control of the German language. readiness for occasional missions within Germany.
