Become part of our inspiring team as Senior IT System Engineer (m/w/d) - Focus on Linux Systems and Cloud/Hybrid Infrastructure

Strategic infrastructure responsibility: You are responsible for the further development and stable operation of our Linux infrastructure in a challenging industrial environment. The focus is on the implementation of compliance and security requirements as well as the strategic management of our external service providers. Project management & modernization: You run complex IT projects, from planning to implementation (e.g. technological change of generation or platform migration). You coordinate dates, resources and budgets and ensure project success. Supplier & Stakeholder Management: You act as a central interface to our external service partners, as well as to our internal specialist departments and key users. You coordinate the task distribution and monitor the quality of the services provided - mainly in the Linux environment. Cloud & Hybrid Strategy: You managed the ongoing transformation of our IT systems using on-premise, cloud and hybrid scenarios. You make decisions based on availability, dependencies, performance and costs. Linux infrastructure orchestration: You control the operation and the strategic development of the entire Linux landscape. This includes basic OS for various servers and machines, as well as central services such as e.g. Linux file servers, repository services or virtual Linux desktops (Enterprise VDI environment).

Project & Responsibility Experience: You have several years of professional experience in a controlling function or as (partial) project manager in the IT environment. You are sure to manage projects with internal and external partners and make decisions or make them yourself Extensive IT confession: You have profound knowledge of Linux environments (preferably RHEL-based), at the same time have a strong basic understanding for a very broad spectrum of IT.
