Your tasks As consultant Procurement, you are part of our Supply Chain & Operations organization at the locations Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Frankfurt/Main or Munich. If you are passionate about successfully preparing companies for the future and want to demonstrate your passion for strategic procurement and supply chain management, then you are right at EY. Together with the team, we are committed to optimizing the procurement strategies and processes of our clients and building sustainable supply chains. This includes basic aspects such as building and optimising a modern category management as well as future topics of digitalization and sustainable procurement. Based on your previous professional experience, you will take on various tasks: Development and implementation of strategies and target images of future shopping including organisational structures and processes as well as new topics and approaches in purchasing consulting Development and implementation of product group and supplier strategies also under the aspect of resilience and sustainability of supply chains, implementation of market and price analyses as well as evaluation of project-specific enquiries and offers Design and implementation of innovative and digital purchasing solutions as well as creation of procurement controlling and purchasing analytics including the latest trends in artificial intelligence Advising internationally active companies in Germany and abroad on complex issues regarding their supply chain strategy and their operationalization Management of projects, coordination of several consulting orders, innovation and further development of our strategic procurement offers

Above-average degree, ideally in the field of economics, (economic) engineering sciences or a comparable field of study focusing on supply chain management First or multi-year professional experience in purchasing or consulting with focus Supply Chain or Procurement or Strategic sourcing Solid understanding of the application and modelling of analytical methods in the environment of supply chain & operations as well as excellent knowledge of German and English in word and writing on C1 level
