Specialist Operations Center and Monitoring (m/f/d)

In the Operations Center, all the threads merge. We monitor the most important IT infrastructure systems and services of Signal Iduna. We use various monitoring tools to cover the levels of RZ, LAN, WAN, mainframe x86 and power systems up to end2end monitoring applications. Our private and public cloud environments also grow very strongly. In case of malfunctions, we are also informed by various cloud providers and service providers and support in the coordination of fault elimination. In addition, you will be able to increase our monitoring and reporting to a new level. You will work with internal and cloud systems in a modern and diverse IT landscape. Your task: You monitor the most important IT systems of Signal Iduna. This includes applications, x86, power, and mainframe systems, network, IT security and increasingly multi-cloud environments You coordinate the elimination of IT disputes and also tax various service providers You’ll be instrumental in developing our monitoring based on Automation Anywhere and Splunk Enterprise You proactively analyze the monitoring data to derive and implement new automation potentials for E2E monitoring For different user groups, you create appropriate monitoring views and reports In order to ensure that we always have sufficient views of the systems in the Operations Center and are operational in the event of malfunctions, you support us in the continuous exchange with other IT teams, the creation of documentation and the continuous improvement of our processes
