We are looking for a highly motivated doctoral student for an innovative research project at the interface between computer science and clinical radiology, which aims to fundamentally change access to imaging data, their structuring and exploration in real health environments with a focus on lung diseases.

The project is embedded in a strong interdisciplinary cooperation between Medical Informatics, AI research and clinical practice. With access to multimodal patient data, including thorax x-ray images, CT/MRT scans, radiology findings, scanned patient letters and hospital IT systems, this project offers a unique opportunity to work on basic technologies with immediate clinical relevance.
