Control Technician for Machine Safety and Axis Technology (m/f/d)

Active design and further development of the control platform for our laser machines with regard to machine safety in an agile engineering team Active design and further development of the control platform with regard to high-precision axle control with TWIN CAT Takeover of technical responsibility for essential control components Creation and evaluation of safety concepts for machines and plants Support in the development and standardisation of security processes Support of development and project phases under safety aspects Development of high-performance and robust security software with Beckhoff TWIN SAFE Developing more efficient architecture of the safety software with regard to special machine construction and optimising the acceptance processes Design, evaluation and continuous improvement of scalable, predictable and testable security software taking into account existing legacy code Technical support of the commissioning and service team: in the diagnosis of problems in customer machines

Successful completed study of electrical engineering, automation technology or a comparable technical degree course or completed technical training with further training to the technician (m/w/d) or comparable qualification Impressed ability to quickly capture, analyze and transfer complex technical relationships to new questions (high transfer competence) Multiannual, well-founded experience in control technology with Beckhoff TWIN CAT and TWIN SAFE Multiannual experience in machine safety and functional safety Structured and independent operation Communication strength in exchange with internal interfaces Team skills and willingness to share knowledge in the team German and English skills Know-how in the field of axle control, axle tuning, axle accuracy with Beckhoff axle amplifiers (e.g. AX5000) Very good knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines (e.g. machinery directive, ISO 12100, EN standards) Pleasure to further educate colleagues on machine safety and platform Beckhoff TWIN CAT/ TWIN SAFE and share knowledge Experience in carrying out risk assessments and CE processes Knowledge of Performance Level / SIL Safe handling of version management systems (e.g. Git, CVS)
