The SFZ Group brings together several companies and brands with a common goal: to promote the social participation of people with special support needs, especially those with blindness and visual impairment. Founded in 1991, the SFZ Förderzentrum gGmbH with around 500 employees offers educational opportunities, housing support, medical care and work opportunities – creating prospects for self-determined life and equal participation.

On August 1, 2026, we are looking for a living area for students at the Chemnitz site, part-time with 30 hours a week and at first last for one year an educator (m/w/d) with particularly difficult professional activities.

Your tasks with us:

• Care and promotion of people with disabilities who undertake a vocational rehabilitation measure in Chemnitz
• pedagogical accompaniment of young people with a visual restriction/blindness, with developmental disorders, mental impairment or mental illness
• Promoting personal development and community capacity
• Help in managing everyday life
• Ensuring learning aids and social training
• Planning and implementation of individual and group offers in the context of rehabilitation planning
• Create individual funding planning, development reports and conduct development talks with people with disabilities taking into account the legal requirements and documenting within the scope of your task
• Safeguarding a varied leisure offer
• Support for integration in the general labour market and housing
• Cooperation with parents/legal supervisors

• Education as educator, curative nurses, curative teacher, or social education
• Educational skill, empathy and enforcement
• Organizational talent
• High team capability
• Ready to work in shifts, weekends and holidays
