Engineer as Head of Department (m/f/d)

Staff management and coordination You take over the leadership and thus have the personal and professional responsibility for a team with currently 7 employees. You are responsible for the planning, control and coordination of all processes relating to the planning measures. You develop strategies and targets, implement new legislation and amended procedures in the field. You shall draw up leading opinions, reports and analyses, in particular on individual road planning. You represent the interests of the LS during information events and coordinate actions with municipalities and other authorities.

Experience and communication strength Completion of vocational education and training Bachelor Program in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering/Construction, Transport Engineering or Urban and Regional Planning a comparable discipline or equivalent skills and experience Long-term practical experience and knowledge in the applicable case law Advantages are leadership experiences Enforcement, negotiation skills and resilience Class B driving licence and the willingness to travel within the framework of the service tasks Very good knowledge of German in word and writing (comparable C1/C2)
