Within the Technology, Coating and Assembly team, you are working across the entire Wetzlar site.

Your role Take responsibility for projects concerning quality topics such as PDCA and 8D as well as new approaches.

Support and improve the processes in the shaping and/or surface finishing (polishing, coating) of optical components and assemblies.

Optimize the installation activities of the lighting systems and optical components.

Design experimental designs, perform tests with adequate parameters and log the results.

Manage the processes of technological adjustments and make sure that the goals regarding time, cost and quality are achieved.

Evaluate and adapt the processes in the organization.

Conduct and moderate quality assurance and improvement measures as well as corresponding meetings.

You have a successfully completed master's degree in a technical or scientific discipline, ideally with doctorate.

Extensive knowledge and experience in mechanical engineering as well as in the production processes, preferably in the optical industry.

You bring about practical experience in process optimization within the production environment and preferably have knowledge in project management and lateral guidance.

Their targeted and responsible operation goes hand in hand with a high load capacity and a strongly pronounced hand-on holding.

You have the competence to prevail and act as a mediator between different stakeholders.

Their remarkable communication ability motivates others, and you have very good German knowledge as well as good English knowledge in word and writing.
