Study options from September 2026 In the dual study of electrical and information technology at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, practical training takes place in state-of-the-art technology development, automation, energy technology, mechatronics, microelectronics and information technology. The combination of theoretical expertise and practical implementation prepares optimally for complex projects, leading tasks and the international labour market. In the dual study of energy and building technology at the Technical University of Cologne, the development of concepts for sustainable, energy-efficient and comfortable buildings takes place. The implementation of state-of-the-art technologies from heating, climate, sanitation, electrical and control technology is carried out directly in practice. Due to the close interconnection of theory and professional experience, students are perfectly prepared for the challenges of the energy transition and the innovative building management.
