Operations Director (m/f/d)

Guide and coordinate all operations of the plant, including production and maintenance, with a focus on occupational safety, quality and productivity with around 140 employees. Leadership and development of employees, including planning of a powerful team and promoting a team-oriented KVP culture. Budget responsibility and cost management to comply with the work budget and optimize production costs with a direct line of reports to the management. Development and promotion of department leaders through efficient and sustainable personnel planning, structured training and follow-up planning to ensure future skills. Stabilisation and further development (Lean Management, CVP, Automation) of the processes to enable further growth. Idea formation, planning and implementation of investment projects for the continuous development of the location possibilities and improvement of competitiveness Close cooperation with sales, supply chain and regional interfaces to align production to customer demand and company growth.

Complete technical or business studies, ideally in the field of production technology/machine construction or a comparable technical further qualification coupled with an economic understanding. A leader who develops powerful teams through demanding and promoting employees Multiannual experience in production management, preferably in the paper or packaging industry. Knowledge of occupational safety management and proven continuous improvement processes for product quality and productivity. Analytical skills and knowledge in the use of controlling tools for process optimization. We require good knowledge of English in word and writing.
