As a transmission system operator, we secure the power supply for around eleven million people in Baden-Württemberg. We create the infrastructure for the energy transition by maintaining, optimizing and expanding the high-voltage network according to needs. The area of corporate communication is responsible for the strategy, conception and implementation of external and internal communication measures, consistent brand communication in the inside and outside as well as the further development of corporate culture. These include the positioning of TransnetBW through proactive media work, the support of the departments in designing and implementing their own communication measures, as well as the realization of mission and vision. You develop independent communication measures on network expansion and network development plans – always with a view to our reputation at federal and state level. For this purpose, you allocate the network development plan and the resulting network expansion activities. In your role, you work closely with the project communication of our AC and DC projects, our policy area and the team Internal Communication & Culture. In addition, you agree with the press speakers of the transmission system operators 50Hertz, TenneT and Amprion as required. You serve the national press in cooperation with our project communication and policy area, coordinate content for social media and intranet as well as for other internal and external formats – from concept to finished text. With your content, you position TransnetBW as a responsible and efficient provider of the energy transition. You observe social, political and media developments and proactively advise internal stakeholders on communication opportunities and risks. You maintain the media network and continuously develop it.

You have completed your studies in communication sciences, political sciences, journalism or comparable qualifications. You bring several years of experience in corporate communication, ideally in the energy industry or in a company of critical infrastructure. To do this, you have a very good sense of social and political developments and media trends and are able to prepare complex content in a comprehensible, target-group-oriented and media-oriented manner. Whether for social media, press work or internal formats: You have a secure text feel for different channels and are strategically and handcrafted in storytelling. You have practice in managing agencies and service providers, work structured, take responsibility and bring the courage to communicate clearly even uncomfortable topics – always in the sense of good cooperation in the team. In addition to very good German in word and writing, you can master the English language as well. You bring the willingness to occasionally travel within Germany.
